ABOUT US

The Cloth has been made by the weavers of a cooperative called “Adarsh Hathkarga Cooperative Society” in Jhiri Rajasthan. The Cloth is pure cotton and will give you a very comfortable experience of wearing it, and has an excellent texture and fast colours.It has been Stitched by women tailors in Dewas Madhya pradesh, who are part of the women’s collective called ” Dignity and Design”. All women are survivors of atrocities like sexual violence, caste based Prostitution, and manual scavenging.The Embroidery on the dress, has been done by women members from the group Umeed, who live in the slums of Jaipur, and many of them have migrated from Pakistan and looking to make ends meet after coming to India.Julahe wants to offer you the best of fashion and quality, with an aim to provide significant livelihood linkages to various communities, who are using their traditional or learnt skills, to develop these products.
