A dairy farm owner or Poultry farm owner can set up of a biogas based power plant with 12 kW or 24 kW or 36 kW or 48 kW. The plant will have to be installed at the captive power plant.

A Biogas plant will have to be installed to produce 100 CUM, 200 CUM, 300 CUM or 500 CUM biogas per day. Also, entire biogas produced will be used to produce power and thermal energy. The plant will produce power for 12.5 hours a day.
