Scrubbers are used to scrub and neutralize fumes from smelting/induction furnaces, etc. They also arrest suspended particles of sizes above 10 microns. There are different types of Scrubbers, which are selected, based on the site requirements. They come in different capacities and in different material of construction like Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, FRP coated, etc. Different scrubbing liquid like Water, Lime, etc. are used,� based on the fumes to be treated. Scrubbers are of Wet type and Dry type. In the case of Dry type, suitable neutralising solution are sprayed to neutralize fumes to powder form, for collecting in the Bag Filter.
